The Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid saga is entering another long season.
After it was speculated all summer whether Real Madrid will make an offer or not for Kylian Mbappé after he was forced out of Paris Saint-Germain squad, when it did not happen – many medias reported that Real Madrid will try to sign the player in 2024, and according to them this was always the plan, to wait and sign the French player for free.
But, knowing what happened in 2022, in the same scenario – you never know for sure with Kylian Mbappé.
And, today, Sky Sports are talking about a possible alternative of the French player, and that is Manchester City’s Argentinian striker – Julian Álvarez.
Lately, Real Madrid have been acting differently in the transfer window and at the start of the summer, no one expected that Los Blancos will start the season with 4 attackers available.
Next season, Endrick will join the club officially, but being only 18 it is too hard to believe he will be trusted with a starting spot immediately.
Making a big reinforcement in attack is crucial for Real Madrid, and finally – if Mbappé again does not join, the club will look for other alternatives.
Julian Álvarez is one of the alternatives according to Sky Sports, he has a contract with Manchester City until 2028, and his signing will not be very easy.
Álvarez already spent some days in Madrid, but due to FIFA regulations at the time Real couldn’t complete his signing as he was below 13, so this forced his family to Argentina and choose a different path for their son.
